Amazing... I love the third image from the top. Just with the minimal amount of strokes from your pen you were able to render quite a wonderful profile. Have you ever wondered how something like this would look on a large scale? Keep the exact same strokes but on a 40x60 canvas?
The one you like, was a head I only had about 1 minute to do, so I needed to use just a few strokes to get the profile of this guys head. The lesser the time I have the fewer strokes I use.
I have always thought how it would look on large scale, but haven't tried it. That might be something I'll really want to see!
