The man in the mirror, sketchbook (pen and ink), 2009

No travel, just chilling out in my room in Tokyo and I need to know the truth, the truth is my nose is getting bigger......

This self portrait sketch was done in biro and a number 75 cool grey Tom Bow marker.

  3. Haha you are funny! How can your nose be getting bigger Adebanji? Unless you have been losing weight in which case it may look bigger if your face is slimmer(?). Great self-portrait anyway, even if, dare I say it, it does look a little like a mugshot! :)

  5. I'm hanging my head in shame for not being a follower of yours sooner. I walked in to comment on your dsfdf portrait and then found myself lost amongst your incredible drawings and paintings. I really enjoy seeing pictures of artists while painting, and I especially enjoyed reading the story of Prince and loved the photos of him. You have given me many links to check out with your postings of other artists; a very fun and informative blog, Adebaanji!

  9. This is awesome. Your work is so inspirational.

I often wonder if my nose is getting bigger, or my face smaller. Either way, the balance sure is shifting.

    Wonderful work.
Happy New Year to you and your family, Adebanji.
