Sketches on the train last day of April 2

On my way back from Cass Arts, I got on the train from Charing Cross to Abbey Wood. Here I see a guy with glasses on my right I sketch him, then suddenly on old man with fantastic features gets up and sits facing me. Yes! I quickly get a few msarks down in my sketch pad, there was even room to have 2 reference camera shots for a possible painting in the future.

I ran out of acrylics this morning while doing a painting so I went to get some art supplies at Cass Arts. on the way from Belvedere to Charing Cross I get these two sketches done. I really enjoyed the guy on the left, although the time was short but I was able to pick up a few of his features and facial structure. The other guy got off almost as soon as I started

This is a great opportunity: to sketch from life, its right there, the time is limited, so you are forced to make vital decisions that make the sketch a moment of truth!
