What brought about this marathon in the 1st place, I've looked over the previous postings but couldn't figure out why or what was going on, did I miss the intro for this? Anyway amazing work of 45 paintings in 7-9days!

Wow, wow, wow! Inpressive to do 45 of these, especially with all the structural things like buildings!
Where you put yourself through with art, friend!
I gues you believe in "no pain, no gain", eh?

These look cracking. Really interesting having the photos show the scale and the way you compensated the lack of light. Inspirational!

Thanks Victoria- what brought about this Marathon-that's a good question! I'm sorry I didn't cover this. It started with me planning to do 500 small paintings of London, from June to December-then when Mike Porter of Bath Gallery heard about it-He postponed the London marathon and transported me to do 250 of Bath! Now, that was a great challenge! Can I do it? I think so! God can do it-I'll be relying on Him for the health and grace! I have got 205 to go-my next visit will be in August, stay tuned!

Jeannette-you are right, but sometimes we just have to seize the day! it's worth it!

Sheona- that was a great feature of this trip-I never knew I could be doing a plein air at 3am midnight/morning- but it is great to see what is possible when one puts in a bit of extra effort!

I love your effort and am inspired by looking at your paintings. By the way is that a Guerilla pochade box? or is it a British brand?

Thanks Marlene, you are right this is Guerrila, the U.S. Brand.
