POURING DAY, towards Gloucester Road, Watercolour, 12"x 10", 2009

Another Exhibition piece. This one clearly shows the real LONDON WEATHER, rain, rain and rain!!! Sometimes its cats and dogs all day. That's the mood I have tried to capture here, with an old lady that just must go out in it to do her shopping! Typical!

This was done with Watercolour but as usual I end up adding the usual additives(coloured pencil, ink, wax crayon)

Don't forget to vote here It is possible!!!

Pouring all week here in our (usually dry) locale, too! A very lovely painting. I've been enjoying your color work.

Many good wishes on your competition, and I did VOTE for you! (and added a link that I hope people will follow and also vote)

Beautiful. Her reflection is (dare I say it)perfect; you even have the detail of her coat down to the outline. Her umbrella is another point of interest; the pattern on it looks really convincing. What really impresses me is the partition of buildings and trees -all well drawn in thier own rights, but also finely reflected on the ground that gives a startling sense of depth to the picture. Honestly, aside from the far distant background which seems a little fuzzy in a way that doesn't compliment the natural "fuzziness" of the piece, everything in this is exactly as it is supposed to be, and I really do not know what else to say. You are a wonder to your craft.
