Sketches on the train, tube and bus in London (March I)

Here I will be showing some of the sketches in one of my sketchbooks. I sketch almost everyday on public transport. This has been my practice for many years now and I just keep this habit going as it is the way I see the world!

Hope you enjoy these sketches and I hope you can feel the way I felt for each face. I just love faces!!!

Nothing is so enjoyable, so interesting and so engaging as when I sit down to thoroughly sketch the faces I see on public transport!

SPECIAL QUOTE- "Many people have asked me what do I do when someone sees that I am sketching them, I say to them, I simply wink, once I wink, it keeps them calm, I have tried it and it works!"-Adebanji Alade

Sketches on the Train, Tube and Bus in June I

These are some sketches done earlier this year. I am going to be sharing the importance of Lines and their weight at my SKETCHINSPIRATION blog, so be sure to sign up for the latest updates.

Lines are everything to me when it comes to sketching and there is something sensual, emotional and lyrical about lines-they are everything to me when I sketch on the tube, train or bus, so look out for the lines here and have fun!

SPECIAL QUOTE
"If you love to sketch people, public transport in London is your best shot! The faces are just everything you'll long for- Colour, mood, age, youth, beauty, sleepy, serious, happy, friendly, curious.....JUST DO IT!-Adebanji Alade

A Marathon of Sketches on London's Public Transport May I

Enjoy and travel along with me as you go through these sketches all done on either the tube, train, bus or bus stops.

I am always armed with my sketchbook, ball point pen and a grey TOMBOW wash pen.

Anyone that catches my attention gets into my books- Sometimes I get to sketch the same people over and over again!

It's a great experience! I get to talk to people, share what I do and sometimes I end up sending the images to them if they so request!

It's a sort of addiction or should I say passion!
