The PC Effect, Oil base pencil, A3 Sketch pad, 2008

This is how we often are, gazing at a computer screen for all our needs, so to speak. Life has really changed.........I did this quick sketch as she was trying to sort out her website, she was really concentrating............

Hi, I just wanted to say that I recently have discovered your work and I believe you are brilliant! Your work has really touched me. You really seem to be able to see the soul of a person. Thank you for sharing your art with the world through your blog. I look forward to seeing how your work progresses. Karen U.S.A

Wow! Thanks Karen, you seem to be able to see deeper than me myself!

It is really encouraging when people who don't know each other and have no connection with can just connect with each other through art- it is amazing and liberating!

Thanks ChrisI

I do the sketches on the way to my studio from Belvedere to Chelsea- this journey lasts almost 1 hour 15 mins- so I don't like to waste that time- I use the opportunity to sketch!

Did you forward your mail (with your picture and bloglink) to Karin Jurick? If you did, just be patient-you know we are ahead of them in the States by about 7 hours!

Hope this helps.
